Ok – well things have been a little quieter this month, I’ve had a week off too. Recharged and refreshed. Tidy.
Cars On Fire album launch and NASS Fest
We have finally let the beast that is Black Hearts & Bloody Hands out physically and you can (and should!) BUY IT HERE – We had an awesome, packed, frantic loud and crazy launch night at The Croft in Bristol – thanks to all for coming! Blinder. The next day was spent at a very muddy and fun NASS fest, playing before our mates – The Computers. All good fun. Facebook page is here
Loads of GREAT feedback on the articles I’ve been writing about remote recording sessions – the link to the latest videos are here – there are extra videos for this month:
AND Music Radar very kindly hipped me to the masses here
I’m off to Leicester at the end of the month to do a great summer school weekender with my mate Tim Brown at Quad Studios – the website is here – we’re focussing on studio and band playing this weekend. Will be great fun!
Straight after that I’ll be off to the Freddie Gee Summer Camp in Winchester with Steve White, Craig Blundell, Richard Jupp, Damon Wilson and Ralph Salmins – will be a fab week! Any enquires about this, drop a line to -
Then it’s the two BIMM Summer Schools, one in Brighton (where I’ll be lucky to stay with the extremely talented and lovely drum Jedi Pat Garvey) and in Bristol – details for the Brighton Metal Hammer week are here and Bristol are here
This month has been fairly frantic with other things so I have to schedule finishing several projects including the Soundwall Project with Porcupine Tree’s Colin Edwin and some other bits an pieces to catch back up with.. I also have to admit to buying a rack for the studio – please don’t hate me?
Thanks for all the messages, emails and Tweets etc – it’s nice to know that people read and listen to the things that we take the time to put together KEEP EM COMING!!
Maybe the summer will arrive at some point???
